With flora: There are 519 species belonging to 419 genera, 106 families belonging to 04 vascular plant phyla including: Phylum aureum: 01 family, 01 genus and 01 species; Phylum fern: 01 family, 01 genus and 02 species; Phylum gymnosperm: 03 families, 03 genera and 03 species; Phylum magnolia: 101 families, 414 genera and 513 species. Of the 106 families, there are 15 families of higher plants with 304 species, accounting for 58.57% of the total number of species in the region. Of which, the Bean family has the most with 48 species, accounting for 9.25%; the Euphorbiaceae and the Rice family have 40 species, accounting for 7.71%; the Cyclamen and the Sedge family have the least number of species with 07 species, accounting for 1.35% of the total number of species in the region.
Regarding terrestrial invertebrates: There are 108 insect species belonging to 128 genera, 27 families and 05 orders. Of which, the Lepidoptera has 62 species, 76 genera and 09 families; the Dragonfly order has 21 species, 17 genera, 09 families; the Orthoptera has 13 species, 12 genera, 02 families; the Hemiptera has 19 species, 12 genera, 04 families and the Coleoptera has 14 species, 11 genera, 02 families. Regarding vertebrates belonging to the avian family: There are 66 species belonging to 29 families and 11 orders. Among the recorded bird orders, the Passerine order has 42 species, the Ciconiiformes order has 05 species. The Coraciiformes order has 04 species; the Piciformes order; the Accipitriformes order and the Columbiformes order each have 03 species. The Galliformes; Anseriformes; Gruiformes and Strigiformes have only 01 species (accounting for 1.52% of the total number of species). Of these, there are 04 rare bird species with conservation value recorded in Decree 84/2021/ND-CP (04 species in group IIB). The 2007 Vietnam Red Book; the 2021 IUCN Red Book do not record species that need priority conservation listed in the above lists and Decrees.
Regarding the Mammal fauna: There are 20 mammal species belonging to 10 families of 05 different mammal orders: the Rodentia order has the largest number of species, with 11 species, accounting for 55% of the recorded mammal species; the Chiroptera order has 05 species, accounting for 25%; The Primates order has 02 species, accounting for 10% of the total number of recorded mammal species. The 02 orders with the least number of species are the Insectivora order and the Carnivora order, both having 01 species, accounting for 5% of the total number of species. 03 rare mammal species of conservation value have been identified.
Amphibian and Reptile Fauna: A total of 10 species of amphibians belonging to 04 families of the Anura order. Of which, the Microhylidae family has the largest number of species with 04 species (accounting for 40%) of the total number of recorded species. The remaining families are the Bufoliidae family; the Dicroglossidae family and the Ranidae family each have 02 species (accounting for 20%) of the total number of recorded amphibian species. This area has 27 species of reptiles belonging to 01 families and 02 orders (Scaled frogs and Turtles). Of which, the Gekkonidae family has 05 species and 04 genera. Colubridae (04 species, 04 genera), Elapidae family (04 species, 03 genera), Cheloniidae family (03 species, 03 genera). The remaining families only recorded 01-02 species. Of the 37 species of amphibians and reptiles, 03 species were identified in the IUCN Red Book, 12 species were listed in the Vietnam Red Book 2007 and 06 species were listed in Decree 84/2021/ND-CP. These are rare amphibians.
